2-Player Bar-Top Cabinet for sale!
« on: February 20, 2007, 06:08:53 pm »
Hi everyone! This is samshaw946 in the West Midlands, England!

I've literally just finished constuction on my latest arcade project and after getting all of the construction photos I need it's now up for sale! This bar-top has been constructed using entirely my own dimensions to get the most out of a compact machine. It is unique from othe bar-tops in that despite being just 18"x24"x24", it still houses a 17" monitor, full 2-player, 6-button configuration, speakers and an ipac interface. Best of all, it more closely resembles a full-size arcade than most bar-tops do. Here are some pictures attached.........

It's not as small as some bar-tops, but it is still very compact, functions well in 2-player mode, has a big screen and all the buttons required for gameplay. It's really intended for someone who wants the feel of a full upright machine but just doesn't have the floor space.

It contains a P3 900Mhz PC (which in my opinion is plenty) and only struggles with 3D (polygonal) games like Street Fighter EX etc. It also has 256mb RAM and a 15Gb hard drive. Which again should be plenty for whatever you need.

As requested by the guys there at BYOAC, it includes no roms, but I have left on my own personalised MAMEWAH menus and .ini files. which you might want.

I am asking £400 ono for this cabinet, and will post to the UK at the buyer's request. If you are within about 30 miles of Wolverhampton I may deliver for a smaller cost.

Hopefully someone will have a good home for this machine and I would welcome any comments on it. As there is nothing really similar to it on the examples page here, I wonder if you guys at BYOAC would like to add it if I set up a page specially for it?

Let me know at samshaw946@hotmail.com if you are interested!

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD!

To a lucky man in Surrey. Anyone wants one of these building or any other type of cabinet, give me a shout. samshaw946@hotmail.com.

I know lots of pro's already do these, but a) I'm in the UK (most are american companies) and b) I know some people can't be bothered with all the effort of building!
