Simpsons Cupcake Drop?
« on: February 12, 2007, 11:07:58 am »
Has any one seen this?  what is this for?  A google search only pulls up some old (1991) handheld system.  Any info on this would be great.

Maybe some type of redemption game?

Edit - Here's a description I found.  Can't locate any images.  :(

The Simpsons Cupcake Contest
Bromley
Strange upright falling ball arcade game with Lisa dropping balls (which are suppose to represent cupcakes) down zigzag chutes into Bart and Homer's mouths. Front of game console has two yellow buttons labeled "DROP CUPCAKES", with Lisa in the center juggling cupcakes and Bart and Homer pointing to the buttons saying "Please Don't Wait!" and "Drop Them Cakes" respectively.

I saw one about a year ago. I was picking up some cabs from this dude, and he had a warehouse full old games he was restoring/parting out. He had one in there. It was a damn shame I didn't have room for it because he said he was a huge Simpsons fan, so he was going to rip it apart and use the sides and background as decorations. The back half of this guys warehouse is his personal game room which is pretty sweet, except for the other "decorations." He had the full sides of classic cabs that he had demolished hanging on his walls. Sad.

Was this a full blown arcade game?  Or one of those kid sized simplistic games you see at Chuck E Cheese's?  I wonder why it's not dumped?

Sorry, guess I should have cleared that up. It is just a redemption game. It looked really cool, though. I regret not saving it.
