Hi all, noob here.  I did a search for some Street Fighter II plans (both here and Google) and didnt find anything useful.  I am planning on building a cab in the coming months, and am leaning towards something in the SFII "style".  Main reason I'm looking for SFII is because of the size.  I am hoping it will be narrow enough to fit through standard doorways, and it also has the 6 button CP on it, not to mention its really where arcade gaming "took shape" for me, so it has some nostalgic reasoning behind it as well.  I like the fact that the CP is within the walls of the cab, or else the doorway might be an issue.  I will also be adding a dedicated 4 way stick on top of the standing SFII 6-button CP concept.  I haven't researched it too much, but I was thinking that an MK / MK2 cab might have similar dimensions as a SFII cab, not sure though).  Anyways, if someone here could point me in the right direction, I'd be very greatful

And regarding the CP, I'm thinking it will have to have a little more depth to accomodate a one player 4 way stick.  I'm planning on adding it to the upper left of the P-one 8 way, and then using the 8 way buttons with it...  Anyone had any problems using this setup in the past?  Thanks all!

I don't have any plans or anything, but one thing you can try that I did, which I'm very happy with... when doing the SFII control panel, shift the middle buttons up about a half inch to an inch (so they're in an arch).  This way it lines up for MK style, with the block button in the middle.  Then I added the RUN bottun, down and left from the Low Punch.

A lot of people just do it street fighter style, using one of the middle buttons for MK3's run button, but it sucks, it makes playing MK a pain in the balls.

Anyway, I'll try to take a picture and post it because my description probably sucks.

Is it possible to make a removable CP and just put in the MK style one when you like.  I was also trying to setup a MK cab, but didn't like how the 2 row of three buttons felt when trying to use the block button.  I kept missing it, but if I do setup a 5 button plan with a run I will not be able ot play other good games.

try here http://www.jakobud.com/

Unfortunately, that (great!)site doesn't seem to have any SF plans, and only has the original MK plans without the run button.  I would be interested in any SF2 version plans as well if someone has them.
