automatic lock old threads?
« on: February 10, 2007, 05:26:17 pm »
if you see in the software, someone and I came to answear a about 2 years old thread, without notice the date of it (since we diddent got a warning about a old thread).

It must been time to install a plugin to this board, so old thread lock automatic in 3 month - half year, if they are not used. If the same subject is used again, it better to create a new, and maybe link a refer to the old thread.

The the mame sound problem thread, Im talking about this time.

Decade Old Work: MultiFE, ArcadeMusicBox
Today Works: Various Spectrum Next games from Rusty Pixels and html5 games.

.... or just look at the date?

Why lock threads that could potentially reopen new ideas and get people talking again?

When I first arrived here at byoac. I dug up some really old threads. One I can think of off hand was a hardware review, but still. Kevin Steele's review of the Smart Strip.
