Operation Wolf Conversion
« on: February 08, 2007, 01:03:09 pm »
I am currently looking at buying an Operation Wolf cab.  They are made by Taito.  How can I find a list other games that would work in this cabinet?  I want to keep the Operation Wolf, but would like to buy other games to play on it.

What do you mean exactly?

Does it have the operation wolf PCB and you want other PCB's that would work with this cabinet? Are you wanting to mame it and put in other gun games?

Sorry, you are finished here

No other games work on that cabinet except maybe some upgrades to it. Operation Wolf is a dedicated cabinet.

I would be interested in getting other PCBs, not turning it into a MAME cabinet.

PS, I can't see your pic.  It looks like a red X.

That game isn't jamma, so you'd be in for some very interesting wiring to use other games - as the other positional gun games are not jamma either. Also, the gun may work a little different from the T2 guns, though I've seen Operation Wolf guns with a dual strike hack. The KLOV listing says the gun has a photo-light sensor pcb, yet it is a positional gun.  :dunno

There's a slim chance the sequel, Operation Thunderbolt might work.

That sucks that no other boards work.  MAME is definately an option, it was just the second option.

Not a good cabinet to maim (it's a classic in my eyes).  You'd be better of doing it to some other generic cab.
