What game was this?
« on: April 04, 2003, 07:24:56 pm »
I remember playing this game at an arcade, it was weird looking game you had two handles and as you moved left to right or up and down so did the entire screen like you were spinning around controlling an anti aircraft machine gun and from memory you had to shoot down the nukes that had been fired at you from another country. It was'nt the greatest game but I liked to play it again, does this game ring a bell with anyone?

was it a cockpit style game and recent? There is a recent game that I played that really fits that description called Turret Tower or something to that effect. The one I am thinking of is a blue verticle cylinder.

This game is definately an 80's game. The handles are mounted on arms which are connected to the monitor and the monitor pivoted somehow, so there was no joystick involved just triggers and swivelling of the monitor.

Thanks for your help guys, you were almost right Birdtales, on the Klov page for Viper it had a link to Danger Zone 1986, this was the game I was after, downloading it right now also Viper, that looks even better.

Just played Danger Zone, almost impossible to play with a  joystick. Nevermind that's emulation! :-\
