  • I want my own arcade controls!
 :o ??? 8) ::) :) ;) :D ;D
OK, getting super pumped up!
I almost have this control panel up and running!
Here is where I'm stuck:

I can't assign values to the 1st player joystick for some reason, i can assign keystrokes, but not up, down, right, left?????????????????????/  Any ideas?  I have the PL2 joystick up and running like a champ.

Also there are a couple buttons for PL2, that I'm having trouble assigning for the six button "Street Fighter" configuration, any help here would be extremely appreciated as well.

Thanks in advancE!

i too had the arrow key problem

just turn off NumLock and use the number keypad to assign the controls (ie, 2=down, 4=left, 6=right, 8=up)

that should work

Downloaded the WinIpac from the Ultimarc website.

You could always try the built-in programming method. Just load the default config first (it will give you arrow keys for joy 1 directionals) then program the others to suit...

Man, nothing is working for me!
I tried loading up the (2,4,6,8) keypad with numbers lock off and that didn't work for me.

I loaded up the Winpac configuration file and that put the Up,down, right, and left commands into the WINPac programming screen for the 2plr joystick, but when I run Mame, the PL2 Joystick controls Pl1???????????
Wierd!
I have PL1 up and running perfect, but anymore advise to get my PL2 stick going would be fantastic!

Thanks in advance!

Actually just figured it out.  I used the default controls off the UltiMarc website.  It's always best to read the instructions after you have exausted all possible means of figuring it out on your own
:)
