Need Help Using Regular Keyboard While CP is plugged in
« on: February 02, 2007, 12:34:22 pm »
I have an IPAQ4 CP running PS/2, works great. I have a USB keyboard. Problem is I cannot get both to work simotaneously. If I reboot my PC with both plugged in the USB keyboard takes over and the CP doesn't work. If I plug in my CP first boot up then plug in my USB keyboard the keyboard will either take over the CP once again or not work and the CP will continue.. So how do you get them to both work at once?

Do you have one of those USB/PS2 adapters? You could use that and then plug the keyboard into the IPAC keyboard passthrough.  Or you could just get a PS2 keyboard and do the same.

Wal-Mart has PS2 keyboards for around $10.  So if you don't have one they are still easy to come by.
