Ipac Encoder Problem, Hopefully a Quick Fix...
«

I have been testing out my control panel with the cab, and for some reason the encoder is not working on start-up. I have to go into the ipac Set-up software and click on "program" to get it to work. Is there anything I can do to just make it work immediately when it starts up?

Still haven't been able to figure this out. Not sure if its a driver problem or what, but the device seems to be recognized upon boot up. Thanks again!

I have had this happen As well as it not keeping its programming. I got a replacement. Every so often mine gets problematic and i have to go into the devise driver and delete all the usb hubs and reinstall everthing. I am going to get a ps 2 keywiz for my cab when i get to it. I am tired of screwing around with I pac problems
Did you try the I pac fix file ?

Andy from Ultimarc got back to me and told me there is a fix on his website (not sure why I didn't see it) and he said that he is also about to release a new version of the IPac software that should fix a lot of bugs. He said it will be released in the next few days. I'll post a link to that here. Maybe that will help you out, rlemmon.

Andy released his new Ipac software this morning. I haven't been able to check to see how it works, but you should defintely check it out. I'm not sure if its on his site yet, but sShoot him an email and I'm sure he'll send it right over.
