marquee detail?
« on: January 20, 2007, 04:40:22 pm »
I'm trying to find good detail about how to hold my marquee in place-maybe with pictures.  Everybody is great in sharing their artwork but I haven't been able to find much detail in the actual construction.  Can anyone help?

Good reference. Also, if you want to see how marquees are held in - just take a quick look at some video games.

Thanks for the responses.  I had to get it through my thick skull that the L-brackets actually ran the whole width of the machine and that you didn't just mount them on the inside.  I guess I'll find out when I go to HD but do you have to paint those black or do they come black in color?

I had to paint them black. If you need to skimp, you do not necessicarily have to paint the inside L or back of the front L because it will be 1. behind the marquee and 2. facing the top of the cab and marquee plexi. Be sure to sand, prime then paint so it will not chip so easily.
