Ya I know its a lame tittle. I just couldn't think of any other way to post it.
Here is my situation. Its time for me to cut some oak plywood so I want to be sure on this; the stuff is expensive. I am attempting to building the most epic cocktail table of all time. I know what your thinking but trust me I build furniture for an hobby and have tastefully included the best of all MAME Cabs. Regardless I am ready to glue it all together but for one piece I need to cut.
My 3rd control panel on my cocktail table is separated by an elevated box that puts my GT trackball at the same height as the glass top. These are the pieces I need to cut but I'm not sure how high to put the track ball.
My track ball is in one of those black metal mounts. The TB box will have a glass front with my logo on it, broken glass glued to the inside walls and a flickering flame bulb in it. Oh Ya!
Option #1. make the 1/4" glass lap over the trackball mount. This will leave a 1/4" edge on three sides of the track ball. Will I hit it playing Golden Tee? Maybe lap just a little?
Option #2. Make the track ball mount the same height as the glass. I cant think of an clean way to do this but I'll figure it out.
Anyone got some ideas? The people at this forum site always have the best ideas, so hook me up or just let me know which option you think will work best or give me another option.
