Is maming a space invaders cab sacraligious?

I just found this...... To put an x-arcade CPO and a LCD into a good looking space invaders cab seems a little rude......  or is it just me

You can both stop fretting!  That, isn't an original Space Invaders Cab..... The shape's wrong. The bezel is wrong and it has a section at the front sticking out to support the CP....

Notice that he hasn't given a side view!

It's more likely some sort of Australian repro cabinet or a former conversion.

MAMEing a real space invaders would be a shame.  I don't think that space invaders came with a X-Arcade CP  :)
