Where to buy a CRT Plug?

i ha vent quite finished my Mame cab, so the neck board of my De-cased TV sticks out a little (ha vent finished building the back panel) So when my "friend" decided to "help" me by pushing it flat against the wall 

any way, to make a long story short... the white connector/plug on the neck board that attaches the neck board to the CRT is broken. the problem is that i can't find a replacement! does anyone know where i can pick up a replacement? i have tried searching on-line and have visited every electronics and TV Repair shop around here but to no avail!

it is for a 26" Mitsubishi TV and has 9 pins. So is this something i can find? If not, can i rip apart an old junk TV to get one?

How's the neck on the tube?  It isn't broken, is it?

no no, the neck is fine, it just bent the neck board up and broke a couple of pins, if i jumper wire across the broken pins the TV works fine. but the connector pins are broken up inside the "neck board connector" (I'm not really sure what that thing is call, i can UL some pics if need be though.

Remember when the crt is on there are alot of volts going through it, soldering or repairing these pins is not smart or safe, I would buy another tube and play it safe and not worry about this thing blowing up one day.

The CRT is discharged before i work on it. the picture tube is completely unharmed, only the neck board sticks out behind the cab, it was pressed up and the CRT socket broke. nothing else was involved. The only pins involved are on the CRT socket (thanks grantspain).

As for high voltage, as a Telecommunication equipment technician, the circuts i work on all day run at between 50KV and 1.4MV i have seen handtools vaporized when dropped on a battery array! you'll excuse me if i am not to terrified of the "high voltages" in TVs. If you really want to see someone light up, watch him improperly discharge the power supply of a  fiber transmission laser!

Well, after 25 min with a soldering iron and a dremmel i have it working.

I would still like to replace the CRT plug so if you know where these can be bought PLEASE let me know!

Like I'm fond of saying...it was fine where it was...until someone that didn't know better started f'ing with it.

I was working alone in the shop a few days ago.  I set a piece of glass down on a seat.  As I was the only one in the shop it wasn't a big deal, esp. since I was replacing it in a few minutes.

Suddenly the boss shows up.  He almost knocked it over.

  yah, i know, i know... that's what my girlfriend said... but like i said, it isn't finished yet!   

i took a trip to Home Depot today.. so it shouldn't happen again!

anyways, I'd much rather work on high voltages than 120! I tend to get lazy about safety on lower voltages... you need that fear to keep you sharp!

The parts department at Wells-Gardner sells neckboard "CRT Sockets". I think you can even buy them from Alva Amusement, but you have to telephone them though.
