Need a WG9200 and a Subaru WRX
« on: April 01, 2003, 08:17:34 pm »
Help!!!  I'm building a cabinet and currently plan to use a 27" TV that I already own as the monitor.  The problem is I really want a WG 9200 but my wallet ain't fat enough to pony up the cash.

I would really appreciate it if someone would order one and have it shipped to me.  Or if you already have one I would even be willing to take a used one if it works.

While you're at it I test drove a WRX 5-speed manual with a leather interior and 17" wheels last weekend and I HAVE TO HAVE ONE!  Help a brother out.

...honestly!

You've got to be kidding me.  Aside from it comparing favorably with cars nearly twice its price and sitting in Car and Driver's Top Ten List for the last three years it's just cool...and fast (0-60 in 5.9 seconds)...and comfy...and handles great and is just an overall treat to drive.  And WRX's are very safe.  Gas mileage of an SUV, though.

At any rate, the point of the post was a jab at the recent posts from people who "need parts...please help...no money..."

  • It's a fine line between hobby and mental illness.

Let me start by saying, I hope I don't come off sounding like an @$$ Hole here, but ......

Signing on to the message boards and asking for free stuff is a bit ridiculous ... there are plenty of people around willing to give things away in order to proliferate this hobby further.

There is no need to beg.

I myself have a number of items in my garage that I intend to give away as long as I think that the person taking the items is going to put them to good use and is serious about not only building their dream cab, but sharing the PICS with us when it is completed.

If someone has something they want to give away, they will post it here, so check back frequently. Or ... make yourself a sign that reads "Will Work For Used Joysticks and Buttons" and stand near a busy intersection. Might Work ... Might Not!

By the way, if anyone has a 50 inch Plasma Screen they are not using, I'd love to have it.  :P
