Help finding suitable kickplate

I'm in need of a little assitance.  I'm building three cabs with a couple of my friends and I ran out of formica on my front panel(About a 4 inch gap on the bottom).   I have enough scrap pieces to cover this gap to make it smooth, but now I need a kickplate so you won't see the two seperate pieces.  I didn't want to buy another $40 sheet of formica just for this front piece. 

Do you guys know of any store or place online where I can get something like this.  I'm looking for something pretty cheap.  It doesn't even have to be that functional, just look good.  I'm probably going to end up spray painting it black whatever I get.  Thanks for the help.

For cover up that stuff will work great.
It's super thin, so even just some 3M type spray adhesive or other contact cement would stick it on.

My cabinet arrived from the manufacturer with damage on the front lower bottom panel--about .25" vertical of the art had been torn on the front. I found at Lowe's a 1-3/4" aluminum flat-top threshold. it's about 1/8" thick, beveled on the long edges (as it's a threshold). But it looks great as a kickplate. Not only covers the damade, but should make my cab a little more hardy to wear and tear. Cost about $10 with hardware and tax. May remove and enamel it black later, but for now the aluminum finish looks okay.
