seeburg c or b cabinet measurements needed
« on: January 03, 2007, 04:18:53 am »
Hi Guys

Hopefully someone out there knows of someone who who has a seeburg c or b jukebox. I'm after dimensions so I can build one to create my own jukebox with a touchscreen where the title strips go.

I have pictures of them and know the rough height, width but was after more pictures or exact measures which will make building it easier. If anyone can help out with measurements of all angles it would be appreicated.

Big project I know, but wont be the same thing obviously as not that good, but hoping to mirror there design a little. Thanks again

Excellent, thanks for that mate.... If anyone have one at home and they can do exact measures of side parts and so on would be appreciated. But thanks mate, this will give me the start anyways to what I needed. Cheers

Why such an obsession with exact measurements? If you build something and find out later that it's off by an inch in some direction or another, are you going to be devastated?

By exact, I'm looking at each part of the actual outside section so I know how round it is etc... If it's out, not at all worried but the more measurements I get the easier it's going to be to cut the wood out, wouldn't you agree?

It's like anything the more info you have the better an end result or hopefully easier the project becomes. Thanks again to those that helped out, appreciated.

How are you going to handle the curved glass portion?

Hi Fredster,

Going to go to a local place here in Melbourne to chekc out perspex being bent into that shape. Should be able without any hassle get them to bend standard clear plastic into that shape. I know the high of the glass but will do my own version to fit the frame I build, but will be similar to what is pictured. sorry spoelling is crap, little bit driunk :)

Cheers Mal
