Operation Wolf Cabinet
« on: January 02, 2007, 10:59:02 am »
I can get an operation wolf cabinet without monitor and gun.
Is it a good cabinet voor building mame into it?
Does an 21inch monitor fit into it?

If I remember right, the CP is kind of high. The cabinet also displays upside down and backwards off a mirror.

Hey Gizmo,

Yeah I saw that one up on offer as well. How big would that monitor be ? A bit small ?

I too think that the CP will be too high to put joysticks and buttons on.

There is no monitor in it.
I think about to put an 21inch monitor in it.
I have asked for the height of the CP panel.

When i look at this picture (found on the internet) , i don't really think that the CP is high or is it?

If you remove the gun box and put a normal control panel on it it's a good cabinet to use. Just finished building a cabinet from an old Op.Wolf for a friend. The lugs that stick out on the side panel at the front are at about the same height as my nintendo cab.

Edit: You can horizonatally mount a 19" monitor in there with just enough room to rotate it. A larger monitor would look really nice though. The mirror setup gives a theatre feel to the cab as the screen looks set back deeper than the cabinet really is, looks really cool IMO. ;)

So this is a perfect cabinet to start with?
Do you know the height of the CP panel?

Can you  put the  monitor direct behind the glas?
Or can you only use it with the mirrors?
