IDE Cable Header for Mini-Pac
« on: December 29, 2006, 03:42:19 pm »
Anybody know where I can get the IDE header and connectors like the one they use for the Ultimarc Mini-pac wiring harness ?

Also, has anyone had any problem using an IDE cable hacked ? What do you do, just add on normal wires to the tiny, separated ribbon wires ?

Thanks

Just make your own.. kind of a pain but it will work.  Try to find an older ide cable with fat wires.  The bigger the better.  You basically just need to extend the wires or buy a long cable to start with.  The one that comes from ultimarc is really the one you want...
