Way off topic Q
« on: March 31, 2003, 09:11:13 pm »
I have a controller that is 8 buttons but only 6 work (the remaining 2 buttons act as rapid fire for 2 previously used buttons). Is there anyway to change them so all 8 work independedntly.
I know this is off topic but I was thinking of putting controllers somewhere on my cab and instead of buying new ones, I'd use existing one's i have.
Thanks in advance.

Unless you have a driver that lets you reassign the function of the buttons it does not seem likely.  Many controllers say they are eight button but have in reality only six that can be sensed.  The rapid fire function of many is on the gamepad controller board and is only rapid pulsing of an existing button by a circuit on the board.
