Price Check on Arcade Parts

Hi all,

As some of you know, I am converting a NFL Blitz 99 Showcase Cabinet to a dedicated MAME Cabinet.  I had posted to sell the old Blitz 99 Motherboard and drive and was asked about the harness, power supply, etc.

So I have few questions.

1.   Would I ever need any of this stuff again? (I do not like football, so it will never go back to original).
2.   What else would I do with it if I don’t sell it?
3.   Any idea how much this stuff is worth as a whole set? Basically, a complete NFL Blitz 99 Showcase cabinet minus the cabinet, controls and the monitor.  I plan to keep the speakers and subwoofer.

I'll take a stab at it, though don't count on my being completely right, others will sound in on this I'm sure..

If you aren't selling the control panel, then fine, include the harness with the board and drive, you won't need it (unless you have 49-ways, they would help with wiring at that point..)
Power supplies are fairly generic on those cab's, so don't expect to get much more than say $20-25. Heck, I'd hang on to it to power LED's, etc.. if you pimp your Mame cabinet out!
Total price on the board and drive, expect anywhere in the range of $30-$65 before shipping as long as you can prove it's working..

As I said, don't treat what I say as the bible, but there's my opinion anyway

I will most likely keep all of the spare parts then.  That kind of money just isn't worth selling for.  Although I doubt I will ever use them again or return the cabinet back to original, might make good decorations on my wall or something.

Yes, it does have 49-way joysticks.  There is a wiring harness that goes from the stick to a specail optical converter that then goes to the motherboard.  It is all seperate from the JAMMA harness.  I was going to hack those up to connect to the 4 GP-Wiz49 convertors I bought.

I am replacing the 39" (36" viewable) monitor too.  I bought a 36" Gateway Destination CRT Monitor.  Figured it would be nice to have 800X600 SVGA capability.

I will post everything when I am done.

The crappy thing about the blitz wiring harness is that ONE of the 49-way harnesses in it is worth more than the whole thing sold as a unit. I hacked up one too for 49 way setups.

The adaptor is called an I-40 adapter. i have one sitting around somewhere too, but I don't believe there is a use for them other than in that cabinet.
