I'm not sure what this Xmas you speak of is, but I'll wish you a Merry Christmas
The original word was Xhristos, which is Greek, This is where we get the greek/english hybrid word Xmas. Other people also realize that the X symbol is commonly referred to as "cross" as the two lines cross each other, which is also a Christian reference, so since the origins of "Xmas" are deeply rooted in the christian faith, there should be no reason to be "cross" about the use of the word "Xmas".
Yes there are a few people who use the word specifically to "take the Christ out of Christmas", but that is their own intent, and they probobly dont realize that the origin of Xmas is entirely Christian, so they consequently fail to anyone that knows better.
But since I also know that Christians are not the only one celebrating a holiday this season, I should probobly be politically correct and wish everyone...
Happy Christma-haunna-kwaunzika!!!!!
