San Jose auction results
« on: March 31, 2003, 05:23:38 pm »
Hey, I Just wanted to know if anyone bought something from the auction last saturday. I got an X-MEN 4 player Upright with almost all of the side art (a few scratches) and a bright monitor. The control panel art is in great contition too. Looks pretty new. Got it for $275. Is that a good price? Oh well It is worth it to me.

Is it a 25" monitor? Does the board work? If so, thats a great price to pay for the cab.

Even if the board doesnt work, If the cab is in good shape and the Monitor has no issues, thats a steal!  ;D

Good deal.  Xmen is pretty popular, Im surprised you got it that cheap.  I would expect it to be about 350 and up.  At almost every auction there will be a sleeper. Looks like you got it.

Anyone have a list of what sold at the San Jose auction?  Isn't there a site that keeps track? (somewhat)

Hard drivin went for like $50
That namco cycle simulation game with the big screen went for like $300
Two SF RUSH's together went for $1200
And at the begining there was an NBA Jam cab with a good looking monitor and a wayne gretskeys 3D Hokey Control panel that went for $275 (nobody noticed the auction had started)

All the Really big stuff went for cheap!

looks like a lot of the sit downs usually go for pretty cheap.. people don't like to load them up eh? hehehe ;)

I'll have to try and snag one of those.. I would love a sit down..

Damn, I need a plastic adjustable arcade seat for my Mame driving cabinet and it seems these auctions might have one for real cheap.  The next auction near me occurs on a weekend when I am away on vacation out of the state.....Damn again....

I would only need one arcade seat with the appropriate mounting hardware to allow the seat to be adjusted front/back in various positions.....do you have one of these?  If so, what game is the seat from and where are you located.....  I might have friends around that could pick it up for me....maybe?

Round 2?

We already discussed the seats I have they won't work for you. I was referring to Siverwind's post. Good luck finding a seat though.
