How do you centre a stick, underneath?

I looked some for something on this, but didn't find anything.  I know a lot of you like to flush mount, but I for the time being am interested in mounting underneath.  And, besides, if I switch sticks on my current panel, I need to mount them underneath - so, for anyone who does this, how do you?

Whoops, can someone move this to the main or arcade miscellaneous areas, please?...actually, the last three threads of mine could use moving.   Sorry for the mistakes.
