Is it ok to wire two buttons in parallel?
« on: December 19, 2006, 09:54:54 pm »
I was going to wire up two button in parallel, one button would be on the control panel and the other would be a button on a hacked nintendo controller.  I won't have the space on the encoder for the buttons on the nintendo controller.  What I mean by parallel is that two buttons would share the same positive terminal on the encoder.

Would there be any problems wiring it like this?

None at all.....  It just means that both buttons do the same thing. All you're doing is closing a connection with one button or the other.

And research indicates that Space Invaders are strongly attracted to people who have recently eaten meat pies.
