LCD TOPGUN
« on: December 19, 2006, 06:19:15 pm »
Does anyone else here have the LCD TOPGUN? I just got it and it works perfect in windows, traces my mouse fine and in the LCDgun2mouse 3.2 program it registers all my buttons as working etc.

The problem is I once I open a game to play it the gun doesnt do anything I can move my mouse and shoot with my left mouse button (which is programmed for the trigger) but it doesnt register any controls on the gun. I have the lcd2mouse program running and clicked start once I drop out of a game and back into windows it works fine.. What am I doing wrong?

What you're doing wrong is, you're not bothering to use the search facility on this forum... Start there.

and read the following thread as well:

You should check the wiki (in the links on the left frame).

Fozzy, you are right to point out other threads, but that 43 page abomination is near useless thanks to it's size.

The Wiki is the best place.

Fozzy i need your help about my lcd tp gun hack, do you have any picture of your gun dissassembled? I need to figure out if is needed to dissassemble the camera from the fake barrel or i should put the entire thing into my MP5s?

I don't have any pictures of the internal parts right now... But when you disassemble the gun, you will find that the camera is a small unit with the connections at the back... it separates from the barrel really easily, but be very careful as it is an extremely delicate item. If you have space to fit the whole barrel, then I recommend that you do that, as it adds extra protection to the camera.  I only separated it because the space inside my hacked machine gun is very tight.
