Xlink KAI

Anyone here use this?  I'm thinking of trying it out.  I'm not a big fan of fee based online gaming but this could be a good alternative.

I have used it, and it worked pretty darn good. It is especially nice, since you can use it straight from the Xbox with its integration into XBMC. I actually have it set up with no PC running at all. I have a Linksys wst54g router, and I am running a firmware that has support for KAI built in.

I don't know what the userbase is like anymore though. I mostly used it for Halo & Halo 2 play back in the day, since I have also had Live since beta, it is usually the first choice.

Yeah, just got XBMC running, so I'm looking into KAI as well.  I doubt my router has anything like a modded firmware for KAI, it's pretty old.  Rock solid and reliable as hell but it predates the Xbox.

Just read through the documentation and open/forward the necessary ports.  Very easy to use.  I also play xbconnect every now and again - but it's full of people playing halo2

I'm not sure if forza or battlefront 2 work with this.  If so I'd play with some of ya.  I know these services won't work for most xbox 360 games though.  360 games check for latency.
