How do I create clrMAME .DAT File for mame 111 *or current 111u release. I obtained a 110 .dat file from some where forgot where.. any ways now with the current stable release of 111, using clrmame I want to create a new .dat or is this done in mame itself ? I want to update my list ;) And verify that what'S on that missing list is nothing. Forgetting about chd's just roms.

Do you want to create *.dat file of your missing roms or do you want to just find out what you are missing.  If it's the latter, just point ClrMame to your Mame executable during startup.

Create a new profile for 111 and point CMP to the v111 MAME.exe.  Then click load/update and CMP will tell you that it needs to run -listxml - click ok.  Let it run.  Then your new dat is created.  Then you can run the scanner and see what is different/missing.
