« on: December 10, 2006, 12:22:31 pm »
Does any one know the physical size of the IPAC 4? I cant seem to find it anywhere. :dunno

I'm planning on putting it in a seperate box to keep everything nice and neat but dont know if the one I just found will fit.

I went and measured up and after doing so realized I don't have the Ipac4. I have the Ipac VE which is like the Ipac2 but with 4 extra inputs for a total of 32. Good thing I caught it cause I was about to give you Ipac VE dimensions thinking it was a 4!! Well maybe you can get by with 32 inputs!?!?
Anyway here are my Ipac VE dimensions anyway in crummy old standard measurments...You probably want metric
IPAC VE
5-1/2"L X 2-7/8"W X 5/8"D
5-1/2 long is with USB cord plugged in, otherwise it is 3.75"L without USB cord. ALSO, if you use mounting feet you will be deeper than 5/8". I gots no feet!!
You can read up on the Ipac VE here You are probably set on the Ipac4 which renders this whole post useless...but hey I tried man!!

So who has the Dimentions on the IPAC4??

Thanks anyway,
but I have already ordered the IPAC 4 as I need the extra inputs.

Much appreciate it though.

This isn't looking too good my box is 190mm (just under 7 1/2 inhes) long and as I understand it the IPAC 4 is a whack bigger than the VE

If its of any constellation to you. I crammed my IPAC ve into a very small space and almost for no particular good reason. I even whittled a spot for the USB connection to exit on the opposite side.

CRAM IT baby!!

Someone must have one that they can be bothered to measure.

Anyway, it's early here so I'm off to bed, I'll be hoping for an answer this evening. Don't dissapoint me now.

Sorry... I'm just confident someone here will help, this forum is SO amazingly good that way.

I just did a quick measurement of mine,  6 1/4'' x 2 1/4''

Theres a bunch of wires surrounding mine and I have to hold up the CP to get to it, so the measurement could be slightly off, but its pretty close.  And this is not including the usb or ps/2 cord that plugs into it.
