Spicy new dustwashers! Pics coming.... err, tonight!
« on: December 08, 2006, 05:32:24 pm »
Well, I wanted to have some super slick dust washers to go with my SlikStik stainless steel sticks so I found 2 $.99 pizza cutters with a 2 1/8" wheel and popped them off. Then I covered it in duct taps to protect it while I drilled out the whole to fit around the stick. A little filing on the edges and voila! a stainless steel dustwasher. I messed the first one up cause I didn't tape it up first so I need to buy another one tonight to get the pair going. Will take pics of course. Metal is your friend, especially when you use as much of it as I do. If you're looking for that added pop for your chromed up sticks, can't beat the price!

No concerns about slicing open your hand if you slide it along the edge?
No crap, don't put your kids in a real fridge.

I doubt a .99 pizza cutter is very sharp.

I imagine that's what the "filing on the edges" part was for.    ;)

Ahhhh, I thought he was talking about the center hole he drilled out, but you're probably correct.

The edges on cheap pizza cutters are sharper than others, trust me. I got it all dremeled up though.
