Arcade Machine Site, WTH?
« on: December 06, 2006, 04:20:11 pm »
I did a quick search around here to see if it had been talked about already.

http://www.arcademachinesite.com/

I went there and used a crap email account to sign up.  It's pretty sad actually.  To me, it looks like a site that is trying to capitilize on all the work that has been done around here for years.

I hate crap like this anyway, but when it involves a hobby I love, it pisses me off even more.

I'm curious on your thoughts.

Oh crap! Our secret is out! They're revealing information that we never intended anyone but us Freemason Arcade Builders to know about. You mean that regular people will now have access to the same techniques that my forefathers passed down from building the pyramids to building a Donkey Kong machine?
I hope no one falls for this crapola.
I've got a fever...

According to the press release
http://www.prweb.com/releases/arcade/machine/prweb487262.htm

It was started by some guy named James Paige.

As for Emily, I think that is just the name of the Sexy Email Autoresponder. LOL

That's the poster child for lame sites. But to someone whose new to the hobby like me, and having just built my first machine, I feel lucky I found this site. I could have fallen into some trap like that if I was a dumbass.

Luckily, I'm not...but my girlfriend will debate that point.
I'm with stupid.
