OK -there are two trackballs for my Centipede that are made out there:
 
Happ - $58.00
 
or
 
Imperial $38.00
 
Do you get what you pay for on these??

I'd say yeah (having owned both,) but weren't the original Centipede Imperial, anyway?

From what I have seen the Happ trackballs are better quality.

I have no idea, which is why I ask. 

No, the original were Atari TBs, which are basically the same as the happs now.

Both are arcade "good", but I like my happs better than my wico, too.  Is it 1.5 times (58/38~=1.5) better, though?  Ehh, not really, but still better IMO.
