Looks like a homemade keyboard hack encased in a project box... probably suffers from ghosting and/or blocking.

They're also very expensive for a 2 player encoder if you ask me. Granted they have wire and nice disconnects on it already, but $60 US for a 2p encoder is still expensive.

You can get them cheaper. Supposedly they claim that they do NOT suffer from ghosting or blocking. I saw it on another auction for $37 shipped, and they claim no ghosting or blocking in the auction.
