LS Sound 25-29
« on: December 04, 2006, 05:22:27 am »
i have recently got a LS Sound 25-29 cab, and fitted it out with a PC running Mame and got it up and running no problems.

The issue i have is the cab was left on for about two weeks with power only going to the screen and not the PC, and now the screen will not come back on, after a little looking about inside it seems like no power is going to the screen, this may be due to a fault on the monitor board or maybe the step down transformer, not sure.

i was wondering if anybody knows what monitor ships in the LS Sound 25-29 cabs as i cant find any markings either on the cab or the monitor, the cab looks identical to the Super Neo 29 cab and this comes with a dual sunc hitacthi monitor so maybe its the same in the LS Sound 25-29 cab.

if anybody knows the name or model number of the monitor then great, even better would be if anybody knows where to get the wiring diagrams for this monitor, or links to sites for the manuals.

thanks

Stewart

do you know how to use a multimeter?
if so you can eliminate many areas very quickly to id whether the fault is power input related or monitor chassis fault
