Which monitor?
« on: December 01, 2006, 03:12:32 pm »
About to start work on my first cabinet project. Lots of PC, woodworking, wiring, and metalworking experience, so I think I have most bases covered. The thing I can't decide is which monitor to use...

Ideally, I'd like something relatively turn-key. A cheap, light 19" LCD (e.g. Dell) has a lot of appeal, but I'm wondering if it will end up being too small or look like crap. Any suggestions for which monitor to use given a budget of around $300 budget? I'm planning to build a Defender-style cabinet. Can I get by with a 19" CRT? 19" LCD? Do I need a larger (e.g. 24") CRT?
