Crypt Killer sound issue
« on: November 29, 2006, 03:49:05 pm »
May have been addressed before but couldn't locate it in the forums. I am getting a stutter/ echo type sound issue when playing Crypt Killer. Here are my specs:

AMD Sempron 3100
1 GIG RAM

Running Mame32 under MameWah

Any suggestions?

Did you check your framerate using F11?  If it's not 100% you will get sound stutters.  I haven't checked in a while, but I believe that game requires a ton of CPU power to emulate with MAME.

Haven't checked the framerate yet. Well let's say I'm not getting the best framerate. What can I do then? Any way to speed it up?

Any advice at all in speeding up the performance of these higher end games?
