Starting out
« on: November 27, 2006, 05:51:10 am »
I have decided its time i start my first mame cabnet.

Some things i want are:

Full size upright machine
2 player, 6 button controls
20" - 23" screen
Use a pc for emulation

Im a noob and do not have much experience with wiring, woodwork etc. Would it be easier for me to buy some plans to go by? I undertsand planning is a major part and what things should i keep in mind when planning?

With these things in mind are there any good sites i can read up to help me build this machine.

What are some parts i will need so that i can start collecting so when it does come time to build i have everything.

Im from Sydney, Australia so some good aussie sites to purchase stuff would be good, but international sites are fine.

Thanks guys
