Bitz Limited (sometimes stays on???)
« on: November 24, 2006, 09:37:53 pm »
Hey all, Do any users also have this issue? I have tried adjusting it and have it maxed out, but sometimes when I shut down the computer, the strip stays hot. This is not good because it feeds my monitor and second power supply which feeds my audio amp and CC marquee lighting.

Sure nothing's drawing power from it?

I got mine being controlled by a laptop and if the laptop goes into a "recharging" mode,  the power strip powers stuff up.  But once the battery's charged, everything turns off.

When I turn off the computer, the USB extension cable (which has a blue LED in it) stays on. You think that this is enough to keep it going?

Is the computer really off or is it hibernating?

Does that one you are using have an adjustable sensitivity?
Not a technician . . . . just a DIY'er.

I would think that even the USB drawing power is enough. Email Kathy at Bits and ask.
My old user name was marlborroman13, but I kicked the habit many years ago!
