After reading many reviews about the MAS Supernova, I decided to purchase one so that I could play my Street Figther favorites at home.
I was wondering if anyone may be able to give some assistance with some problems I am having. I ordered everything from the same vendor (Supernova, CPS2 A Board, SF Alpha B Board, and kick harness. Everything works, except that the picture scrolls vertically on my Toshiba 52" DLP. I've connected it with the RCA, and S-Video cables supplied, and also with the Composite cable supplied. Same thing. I then connected it to my "older and crappier" TV and it worked fine. However, it's just not ideal for me to use that TV. I spoke to one of the "engineers" at MAS and he told me that it's a known problem on some Sony TV's, but it's the first time he's heard of it happening on a Toshiba. He said that on Sony's, they have to go in to a "hidden" service mode that only Sony technicians are supposed to know about. From there, they can adjust the vertical sync. Well I managed to find a way to get into the service mode of my Toshiba, however there's nothing for vertical sync. In fact, I spoke to a number of Toshiba service people and they all told me that there is nothing to adjust on these newer Toshiba TV's as they are all automatically sync'd. So just for kicks, I decided to fiddle with it some more. I disconnected one of the RCA audio cables from the back of the TV. While doing this, I noticed that it sparked a bit when I touched the probe to the outer edge of the socket. Believe it or not, this made the picture still! I also noticed that when I did this, the fan on the CPS-2 board lost a touch of power, probably because I was shorting something. Now, I can't leave it like this because the probe begins to get hot. A few of my friends told me that I need to replace the cables with some better quality ones. They said that my newer TV is much more sensitive than my older one. Made a bit of sense to me. They also told me another fool proof way would be to use an RCA to RF modulator. So I went to Best Buy and picked up a new set of high quality cables, and two different brand RF modulators. No dice!

Same thing. I am all out of ideas now, and am hoping that someone that has a good amount of knowledge about jamma boards can help me out.
If anyone can help me out at all, I would GREATLY appreciate it and wouldn't even mind throwing them some Paypal payment. All of this stuff has cost me a pretty penny so far, and I'd like to get it up and running

Thanks in advance.
