U360's for fighters??
« on: November 24, 2006, 08:37:43 am »
So I'm finally in the process of starting to collect the parts for my cp but can't decide on the the main joysticks to use. Originally I was going to go with the P360's as I play allot of the fighting games but the U360's would allow me more versatility to play many other games that I enjoy while keeping the clutter on the cp down without having extra joysticks. Problem is that I haven't heard too much feedback from people that have used these on the fighting games. Most reviews have said that the best all in one solution with the U360's  is the medium springs with the circle restrictor and thats probably what I'd go with. Do any fighting game fans here use these sticks with good results?

U360 on map 8way & round restrictor work very good all EX movements executed correctly (QFC, HCB, 360) better from P360. But run, dash on U360 was executed bad (he centres oddly)

f,f, C, QCF+C, HCB+C, 4xQCF+C

GGXXR
instant dash u/f, f

UMK3
f,f,f+HP - Sonic Screeam Sidel
this can be difficult on U360.

do not buy springs. they are very hard to fighters. they do not help in quicker centring to center also.

P360 has very bad diagonals you will not block sweep. P360 my a lot of mistakes in base construction. You can play on P360 in fighters but must change actuator. Better to buy U360.
