Trying to hit diagonals a little easier with Happ Supers...
« on: November 22, 2006, 07:57:38 pm »
I've got a pair of Supers on my control panel, and they're pretty good: a nice 'all-around' stick that has never given me any trouble.  But, I'm wondering if there's a way to hit the diagonals on these guys a little easier.  Fighters get quite a bit of play on the cabinet, so diags are pretty important.  Any ideas?

You can tweak the switch levers.  It isn't a very precise way to do it, but it will make the corners easier to hit.  Watch the bottom of the stick when you move it to the corner to see where you *feel* a good spot to put the bend is.  The go S-L-O-W-L-Y.  You will need to bend each switch the exact same or they will feel awful.  It's tricky to do this right, and hard to undo, so don't try it unless you're ready to buy some new switches if it gets messed up.

You could just switch to Comp sticks.  ;)
