Spinner and Trackball help
« on: November 19, 2006, 10:48:06 am »
Ok, in my other thread I said I had finally built my spinner from a ps/2 mouse hack.
Works great, but is reversed in games. I am just going to use the software flip as suggested.
Ok, well, at the same time I was putting my spinner in the cabinet, I was also hooking up my trackball and opti-pac I got from Ultimarc.
The spinner was working fine before I got the trackball working, but now that I figured out how to hook the trackball up, the spinner isn't recognized in MAME anymore.
It works in Windows, but not in the games.

In the device manager in Windows, I now have 3 mice:
HID-compliant mouse
HID-compliant mouse
Microsoft PS/2 Mouse

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!
Z

Nevermind.
I figured it out.
Had to go into the control setups and tell it to use the spinner for the dial.

Thanks!
