FS: Commodore 1084 RGB monitor
« on: November 18, 2006, 09:08:04 am »
This monitor has a great picture and would be perfect for a Jamma test
rig.  It also has composite inputs plus mono sound that have been
tested and are working.  The power cable and video cable are included
which will hook up to a Commodore, or can be hacked for your Jamma
harness.  As with most of these monitors, the little flip down face
plate that covers the adjustment dials is missing.  Also the previous
owner decided that they were going to superglue the internal power
switch to the on position.  So you can press the power switch on the
case, but it won't actually turn the monitor off.  The good news is
that nothing is displayed on the screen unless a video signal is given,
so there's no worry about burning in the monitor with anything while
the game is off.  I prefer local pickups because of how much it would
cost to ship this, but I can look up the shipping costs if someone
really wants me to.  I live in Raleigh and work in RTP so pickup in and
around these areas would be preferable.

Asking $40 nego.

Thanks,
Scott

BTW, this is a great test rig monitor if you can get/build the adapter harness.  I had one in the past and loved it.

Coincedentally, I just found myself another one today.   :applaud:
