Help with WG K7501 Monitor
« on: November 13, 2006, 08:22:55 pm »
Need some help. I have a Well-Gardner K7501 monitor which is a 25khz monitor. While looking around, I find that a lot of monitors can be adjusted to 15khz with a jumper. I looked through the manual to see if there is such a jumper on the board, but can't seem to find it. The closest thing I find is a reference in the manual to VR701 on the board (page 10 on the manual), but I'm not sure if this is the same thing. It's not a jumper on the board, but rather a dial that can be turned. Can anyone help me identify if this monitor has a jumper or not? I bought an ArcadeVGA card and it wont work at 25khz.

Here is a link to the monitor manual

here is a link to the service page, it has more documents for the monitor

AFAIK this monitor is medium res *only*.  Unlike a very similar monitor, the U5000.

Boooooo   :(

Oh well.  I'm pretty good with the guys I got it from.  I'm sure they'd be willing to do a trade.

Thanks for the info.  Now I wont bang my head over it.
