attached to a star wars or empire strikes back cabinet...

sometimes you can similiar yokes on a stun runner cabinet...

Ebay is the best/only bet..  unless you have an arcade distributor in your area that has an extra/old one on a shelf they'll sell you...

You could always build a twisty grip...

are there any pictures of completed twisty grips? They just don't look 'arcade' enough on their website. :)

welll that's the rub, see....  it seems to be a very functional subsitute for a SW yoke, but it looks like something went horribly wrong under my sink (just kidding).... the pvc pipe is decidedly un-arcade looking (although someone has found grey pvc which may help... *shrug*  it's form vs. function... I guess

Although it is missing the trigger buttons and has one broken gear wheel.....how good are you at refurb?

Haven't really tried yet...

I was hoping this one would go cheaper and I could scavange what I need and resell the remainder later.

It ain't gonna happen now though! There's a certain bidder that been alerted that just doesn't understand the concept of keeping the bids LOW and sniping. The things at 18 bucks. He'll have that damn yoke at 80 bucks before long because he always has to be in the lead! Grrr. Just wait until the last few minutes!!!!!!! Have a last second free for all and all those same people have an equal chance to get it but it'll only end up going for a few dollars more than it is now!!! Some people are freaking THICK.

---gosh-darn--- zane, he did it again.

the stupid part it, its so easy to snipe him... all he does is drive the price up on Ebay of EVERY single yoke that comes up.
Grrrrrrrrrr

Shhh.. if you want to be a sinner and waste the rest of the goodies, someone has a full, working Atari Hydra kit on ebay (same controller). :o

Damn, maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that.. I kinda wanted the kit, too.. :'( oh, well, I don't even remember ever playing that one anyways.

Thanks guys,

Unfortunately for me living in Australia bidding on these things in the U.S. gets quite a bit more expensive once you factor in the freight to Australia.
