my minicab is done
« on: November 03, 2006, 03:00:14 pm »
its been done for a  while but i never got around to taking pics and posting them.
i found the smallest crt and build a cab around it. the monitor is probally a 10 inch.
i found it at an electronics surplus store and it will handle up to 800*600.

streetfighter joystick layout. has a front mounted volume knob and also a power button.
works great. small in size, but has a great look and feel.

more pics here.

What is the gap under the control panel?  It looks a bit incomplete.  Also a strip of t-molding will help make it look a little more orignal.

Other than that, nice job.

Not bad! I got a couple of those 10" CRT's and I been trying to think of a use for them. I might bust out a sheet of wood and put together a cabinet to play a dedicated game or two....

Gorf or something...
