Hello,
A friend and I are writing software to control 2 grids of l.e.d. lighting to use in your jukebox projects. The 2 grids which you can use 1 grid per side of your juke and the grids can have up to 4 columns(squares) wide by 16 rows(squares) this gives a total of 64 squares. You can edit these grids and create frames just like a video. You can choose colors for each squre in the grid and design you pattern with the left or right mouse click. You can also click and drag your pointer to turn on more squares at a time to make it easier. There is editor functions for deleteing and adding frames etc. When creating patterns draw the pattern for the frame and then click add frame to then edit the next frame. There is also options for moving the pattern on the grid but when you move it with the direction buttons you have to click add frame each time you make a move.
Later we are planning on changing the grid layouts and make the software capable of doing rgb text horizontal and would be great for the game machines.
Please check this software out and play with it if you will and let me know questions, suggestions and any features you would like to see. With all the help i can get from this it will become free software and i will help you with building you own lighting if you wish.
I have also enclosed some pattern files for you to look at and play with to see how it works. At the moment i am working on the light grids that will go with this. I haven't gotten to the point that it would be nice for more editing features etc. but we have become a customed to how it works and hope that people on the forum can give feedback as to what would help out the software to maybe make it easier to generate patterns and overall functionality.
This is a link showing some pics of some prototype led lighting that this software and pcb boards work with.

Thanks for you time and Suggestions!
