just wondering how you guys like them...and how comparable to Happs are they?

I would want to use these in a CP that is 3/4" thick.

Anyone?

Thanks!  8)

I have them on my control panel and are happy with them...  they are great for the price..  they are all black (so no choice of colors is a small drawback)

Biggest issue is that they are shorter than a comprable set of happs buttons.  3/4" is the maximum control panel they will fit in.  If you wanted to add lexan ontop of your 3/4" control panel you wouldn't be able to fasten the nuts...   (you could always go 5/8" and lexan if you were going that route.... and using these buttons)

They do use cheaper microswitches (not cherrys) but arguably no one will taunt you for not having the k-mart of microswitches (or rather for NOT having the nike... welll HC might, but he's a different breed of cat =P )

(*shrug*)

I'm also using them.. can't beat the price.  20 for $10 or so?
Also, I recently had an oxidized switch in one of my sticks, and the x-gaming guys are shipping me some replacement sticks.. 1-year warranty.

i currently have them in my cabinet.  They are ok.  They feel just a tab "cheaper" than the ones that were in there.  They are very fast.  I mean you can really get a lot of PPM (presses per minute???)They are shorter like was said earlier.  One thing that i noticed was the 1p start button logo has become worn already.  I received the xarcade controller friday, gutted it that afternoon and began extensive play testing.  It was used all night until 4am and then the same thing saturday as well.  By sunday night the 1p start button logo was worn.  Not completely away but after 2 days of play? it shouldn't wear that quickly... then again we did play it a lot(my friend's surprise birthday at my house)

this is just a nit pick though.  I am replacing them probably.  But again they feel pretty good and seem very fast.  Replacing them is on the bottom of my list!!! :)
