Monitor and ArcadeVGA
« on: October 18, 2006, 05:28:44 pm »
I am looking into building my second cabinet. I used a TV the first time and would like to try an arcade monitor using an ArcadeVGA video card. Is there a brand of monitor that works best with ArcadeVGA. I see that some people on here have trouble getting the right resolution and others claim it works very easily. Some monitors must work better then others. Any suggestions on which monitors work better then others?
Hello, 911? It's Quagmire. Yeah, it's caught in the window this time.

I've used two Vision Pro Monitors from Happs.  They look and work awesome and are a good buy for $159.00 when they go on sale.

How did you get around the squishing at the sides when running the ol' side scrollers under 15hz?
My old user name was marlborroman13, but I kicked the habit many years ago!

Hey, here's a pic of Ghouls N' Ghosts running on my Betson/AVGA setup (using res. 384 288 51Hz):

I don't think I did anything special, except pick the resolution.
