Coin Door - Plastic 25cent piece
« on: October 15, 2006, 09:07:41 pm »
Hey guys,

Anyone know where I can get new (or decent condition) 25 cent plastic insert thingee into my over/under coin mech? I need 2 of them. The ones I have are worn and look shabby. These are the plastic pieces which light up with a bulb behind them.

Any pointer would be appreciated.

  :)

Ok, good point. :)

Attached are some pictures. I have a "Coin Controls Gold Mech Assembly".

Is it easier or better to just buy a whole new assembly? It seems to work.

Or just replace the 25cent plastic things?

Not even sure where to get pieces, parts, assembly for this unit so any pointer would be great.

Looking for two, also.  Complete with the inserts, if possible.  Coin controls, I believe. . .

I got mine from divemaster over in the BST listing...
$6.75 the hard way-one quarter at a time.

Agreed. It's a standard Happs part. Just get the part number and Divemaster will be able to set you up.

BTW, when I had to replace mine, I couldn't find a match for the button, so I bought the button and corresponding bezel. Just took out the old bezel, screwed the new one in and the new button fit like a glove (and looks great, too).

Here's the part list from Happ's:

http://www.happcontrols.com/cc/42315700.htm

The button is part 891-1113-01

and the bezel is 891-1311-16

I bought mine from Divemaster - he's great.
