Is the video game Krull any good?

Anyone like it? I'm going to play it a bit more and see what I think. Initial impressions are that the movie is better than the game.

I remember playing it in the arcades and liking it. After playing it on MAME a bit...I have questioned my decision making process as a youth. Not one of my fav games, but I still play occassionally.

It's a two-stick game like Robotron and Smash TV. There was an arcade in the mall I worked in (many, many years ago) and I'd play Krull, Discs of Tron, Sinistar and Tail Gunner (cockpit) every time I was there. Like Xam, I wouldn't put it on the top of my favorites list, but it still has a spot on the list.

I think it's a fun game, unlike the movie. It's no Robotron, but I like the variety of levels.

I like it, but I like the twin stick play mechanic in general. Robotron, Rescue, Smash TV and Black Widow are all games I play pretty regularly.

Krull was a pretty rare machine in the wild. Seemed like one of those machines the mom and pop arcades would get, but you'd never see it in the chain places. Small place near me growing up had Krull and a few other unusual games I never saw after it closed up, like Venture, Time Pilot 84 and Pepper II.

not really related to the gameplay itself, but............ the marquee is one of the great ones in my opinion. Would make a great custom lighted box item for a gameroom.
